Work Cell Description:
Robots, vacuum end of arm tooling, pallet wrapper, pallet dispenser, custom conveyor solution, Allen Bradley PLC, color touchscreen HMI, safety software and hardware
Work Cell Performance:
• Orients parts during picking and placing
• Optimizes pallet configurations with multiple box sizes and to program the robot paths needed to execute the pick & placing of the boxes
• Places completed pallet onto an outgoing roller conveyor for wrapping and then to a forklift operator to remove finished pallets
• Moves parts fast: (10) seconds from part-to-part (production rate of (6) parts per minute)
• Inspects parts automatically to eliminate non-confirming parts
