BHS Robotics has developed an innovative vision-guided solution for efficiently sorting and picking of multiple SKU’s on one machine. BHS has integrated these solutions for aftermarket parts kitting, assembly systems, and sortation.
THE CHALLENGE
A construction machinery manufacturer had difficulty retaining labor for a repetitive and ergonomically challenging job. The requirement was to fill boxes with small components, bags of fasteners and gaskets to produce aftermarket rebuild kits.
THE SOLUTION
BHS Robotics conceptualized, built and delivered a fully automated end-to-end system from box forming to palletizing for up to 10 unique SKU’s.
Our solution features an automated box erector, vision-guided robotic pick and place using the MechMind 3D AI Vision system, and Motoman robots for precise kit placement.
